The story
A house, a region
Plaza del Sol Foods S.L. is a Spanish apéritif house based in San Vicente del Raspeig, near Alicante. It claims “100 % authentic” products that “convey the flavours of our rich cuisine, the scent of our land, the light of our sun”.
It is a brand of Mediterranean apéritif snacks — nuts and stuffed olives — designed for the table and shared apéritifs, with a presence in Spain, France and Poland.
The craft
How they work
The stuffed olives are pitted green Manzanilla, filled with pepper paste or lemon paste, in an easy-open 280 g tin.
The almonds are fried in sunflower oil, peeled and then seasoned — a Spanish apéritif classic, in a 110 g tub.
