Octopus in olive oil with garlic – 120 ml tin

Four things in the tin: octopus, olive oil, garlic and salt. There is no fifth ingredient, and that is the point — the garlic scents the oil, the oil carries the octopus, nothing covers anything. Open the tin a few minutes before serving so the garlic opens up, then tip it onto toasted bread or a warm boiled potato.
